High Mesa Case Overhaul
High Mesa Case Overhaul #1
Steel Sheets & Magnets
It took months of gutting, redesigning, testing it on the job and tweaking after each event, removing things, adding things, rearranging things, to get everything just right… but this big ol’ beauty of a case is finally ready to rock & roll.
Bonus: I included my smaller case and my travel case at the end of the video too!
High Mesa Case Overhaul #2
All Velcro Baby
Sadly one of feet got damaged in transit and was repurposed into my sons tool bench. No worries, a new kit means making improvements and losing some extra steel/magnet weight, hence the velcro.

My Current Setup
I continue to modify this kit based on the season and products I am using (kabuki's vs. sponges, powders vs. paints, etc), but I keep coming back to this big beauty because of its built in folding legs, the vast amount of space it provides and the classy black sheet metal. Everywhere I take this gal, people stop and ask about her! Check out the overhaul process below.

Let's Take a Look Inside

Supply Links
You’ll notice I link to Amazon here and there. These are not affiliate links, just an easy way to point you toward the right products. When something should be purchased from a professional face painting supplier, I’ll note that, but I don’t link to a specific shop because there are several great options.
I personally use Jestpaint.com most often because it’s closest to me and carries some brands others don’t, but Facepaint.com and other major suppliers are great too. Most regularly offer 10–15% off sales, so my trick is to fill my cart and wait for a sale. I’ll even split orders with friends to save on shipping!
Shop around and find what works best for you. I’m here to share good information—not give you a sales pitch!

Stickiest Velcro, Tape & Glue
I have tried A LOT of Velcro products and they are not created equal! These are my current favs:)

Case by Case (check out each of my cases and what I discovered about each after using them):
Cases come in a variety of shapes and sizes, so you have a big decision ahead...which will work best for you? Join my on my journey through the many different cases I have tried and where I've landed now.
Some were big, some were small, some were short and some were tall...but I truly loved them all! ~Jenny Suess
