What kind of products do you use?
We prioritize your safety and comfort by exclusively employing FDA-approved, hypoallergenic, antimicrobial professional paints. Rest assured that our products are easy to remove with a simple wash using soap and water.
How is face paint removed?
Our face paint is designed for easy removal with mild bar soap, water, and a washcloth. Light colors can be wiped off with a baby wipe, while darker colors may need soap and cold cream to fully remove. If the paint gets on clothing, use a stain remover like OxyClean or a pre-treater with regular laundry detergent. For white clothes, peroxide can also help remove any stains.
How much time should I book?
As a general guideline, allow about 5-8 minutes per face painting. Since requests can vary, exact timing is tricky, just be sure to book enough time to avoid disappointing your guests. Overtime is available in half-hour increments.
Is face paint safe for skin?
Have you ever noticed that liquid cosmetics like foundation don't mold, even after sitting unused for years? That’s because they contain antimicrobial preservatives, which prevent bacteria from growing in water-based paints and cosmetics, while remaining safe and gentle. We also clean our brushes and sponges regularly with antibacterial soap.
Can you create custom designs to fit my party theme?
If you have a specific theme in mind, please don't hesitate to share it with me. If I don't already have a design in my repertoire that suits your theme, I will gladly create a custom one just for your event.
How long does it take per face?
The time it takes depends on the design. For instance, a detailed butterfly can take longer than a simple full-face design like a tiger. We’ve mastered our most popular designs, having painted them countless times over the years. Many of the pieces in our gallery were completed in under 5 minutes. Our experience allows us to balance speed and quality, ensuring you get amazing results without long wait times, all at a reasonable price.
How much space do you need?
I come with a full set up including a table, 1-2 sets of chairs (1 for the artist & 1 for the client), a face painting kit and menu board of design choices. If you have limited space, we can discuss setup options ahead of time.
When will you arrive?
We arrive approximately 10 minutes ahead of our agreed-upon start time to ensure a prompt setup and be fully prepared to start painting as scheduled. For larger events that involve canopy setup, we may arrive even earlier to ensure everything is in place.
